After the white sugar is refined, it’s dissolved and mixed with a molasses syrup concentrate and then recrystallized. A thin film of molasses coats the sugar crystals and contributes to the color, flavor, and moisture of the sugar.

Inspired by the greatest brown sugars that help create the rich, sweet and big tastes of soulful southern cooking our Dark Soft Brown Sugar has a toasted, malty flavour with a hint of savoury and a moist texture that melts easily.
